Lurie Children’s is committed to providing the highest level of compassionate and comprehensive care to children who are hospitalized on the Regenstein Cardiac Care Unit (CCU).

Many of these patients are living with serious and sometimes life-threatening health complications. Some may be hospitalized for weeks or months as they recover from complex surgeries or wait for a heart transplant.

Your gift will provide crucial resources for our CCU Child Life Specialists to use in their interactions with patients and families, as highlighted below:

Your $100 gift can help offset the cost of bedside mobiles to help soothe and support the sensory development of infants hospitalized on the CCU.

Your $250 gift can help support a Momaroo interactive infant seat to comfort and entertain babies when a parent cannot be present.

Your $500 gift will allow us to purchase a vast supply of story books for parents and the Child Life Specialist to read aloud to hospitalized children.

Your $1,000 gift can provide a variety of distraction items for patients in the unit, such as stress balls, light spinners, thinking putty and more.

What is the Gold COast Fashion Show?
The Gold Coast Fashion Show is the signature fundraising event of the Children’s Service Board (CSB), an affiliated organization of Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. In 2023, the event raised nearly $1.3 million in support of the Pritzker Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. This year the board will be fundraising for their new two-year $2 million commitment to the Hematology, Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation Fellowship Program.
IS PARKING AVAIlABLE AT THE Ritz-Carlton and the geraghty?
Yes, non-hosted valet is available at the Ritz-Carlton. The Geraghty has a full parking lot as well as a rideshare drop off location.
